How to choose a Movoji video template
Last updated:
Every Movoji template is a fixed recipe — motion, framing, prompt and lengths. Choosing one is mostly deciding what the clip should look like before you upload anything.
Start with the motion, not the name
Template names describe the vibe, but the reference clip is what you actually get: the camera path, the pace and the framing come from it. Watch each template’s sample video first, then decide. If the camera moves a lot or the cut is fast, small differences in your photo matter less.
Ask one question: could I picture myself or my friend in that exact clip? If the answer is yes, the template fits. If you only like the colors, keep looking.
Check how many photos it needs
A one-photo template swaps a single person into the clip, so the face in your photo is the only new element. Two-photo templates place two people side by side, and the template decides who stands left and who stands right.
Two photos means two people who both consented, and two faces the model has to keep consistent for the whole clip. If you are testing the tool for the first time, a one-photo template is the cheaper way to see what the result looks like.
Match the length to where you post
Short lengths suit the first three seconds of a feed: a hook that loops back to the start. The full length follows the entire template clip and works better when someone taps through from your profile.
Longer renders cost more credits and take a little longer, so try the short version of a template before committing to the full one.
Budget the credits before you browse
Each template lists a starting price in credits, and each length has its own price. Rendering the short version of every template you like is a cheap way to find the one that flatters your photo, then spend the larger amount on that single full-length clip.
Failed renders are refunded, so a template that comes back broken does not eat your balance.
